Softlogic Life Universal Plan

Softlogic Life Universal Plan is a comprehensive universal life product, aiming to cover all customer requirements with the flexibility to add/change options whenever needed.

Special Flexible Features of Universal Life Product

  • Extended Life Cover till Age 80
  • Design the policy based on customer needs – Protection, Savings and Retirement.
  • Top-up Premiums Allowed after 3 Years (Max 2 Times per Year Minimum top-up premium LKR 25,000)
  • The premium-paying term can be less than or equal to the policy term, with the minimum paying term is 5 years.
  • In the event of death, the company shall pay the Basic Sum Assured or the balance of the Investment Account, whichever is higher. However, if the client has opted for the “Waiver of Premium Benefit on Death,” the assignee/nominee will receive the accumulated Investment Account at maturity.
  • Even at the Death of Life Assured, under “Waiver of Premium benefit on Death” if the Spouse cover has been taken on the policy, Spouse can continue the Spouse and Health covers until expiry date of the relevant covers.
  • The Waiver of Premium on TPD is an inbuilt cover to the basic cover. In the event of Total Permanent Disability (TPD) of the Life Assured, the company will credit the basic premium. The Investment Account Value will be payable to the Life Assured on the Date of Maturity.
  • The Accumulated Fund Value will be paid to the policyholder at Maturity.

Basic premium will be credited by the company in the event of Total Permanent Disability of the Life Assured and the Maturity Value will be payable to the Life Assured on the Date of Maturity.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum age at entry 18 years (Exact Age).
  • Maximum age at entry 70 years (Nearest Bday)
  • Rider ceasing age 70.

  • Additional Life Benefit (01 time of the Basic Sum Assured is Compulsory)
